DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a successful and well established agricultural merchanting business in a scenic area in south Wales. Their current Arable Products Manager is moving on and a replacement is sought. This is an important role which reports direct to the General Manager.
Products include fertiliser, cereal and grass seed, agrochemicals and some grain buying.
The requirements of the role include general technical knowledge of arable products(BASIS and FACTS needed), sales and promotional skills, the ability to motivate a sales force which reports direct to the Sales Manager, the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers, to deliver budgetary margin and to manage a small administration team.
The opportunity offered is the freedom to develop business skills and ideas without heavy controls and bureaucracy.
The role is open to anyone with the skills outlined but who is a self starter and who also has the enthusiasm and determination to succeed.
REMUNERATION:
A competitive salary will be agreed by negotiation and the package will include a company car and BUPA.
